As part of a dynamic and international education team, you will design, implement, and oversee quality assurance and certification frameworks for a growing portfolio of innovative training programs. Your role will ensure that all learning initiatives meet the highest educational, regulatory, and credentialing standards across Europe. You will lead accreditation and certification efforts, build trust with external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with EU frameworks. Accountabilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive quality assurance system aligned with European and international frameworks (ESG, EQAVET, ISO).
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external evaluations, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
- Manage course-level and institutional certification and accreditation processes with national and international agencies.
- Oversee credentialing architecture for all training programs, ensuring alignment with European Digital Credentials for Learning, EQF, and related frameworks.
- Develop and maintain internal systems for issuing and verifying micro-credentials, badges, and certificates.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Accessibility regulations, and the EU AI Act, embedding data and ethical standards into workflows.
- Collaborate with academic, industrial, and research partners to embed QA and credentialing processes into program delivery.
- Track and report performance indicators, certification cycles, and learner credentialing metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance, certification, and credentialing within higher education or professional training.
- Deep understanding of European and international QA systems (ESG, EQAVET, EQF) and credentialing standards (Europass, EDC, Micro-credentials Framework).
- Experience managing accreditation or certification processes (e.g., ZfU, ISO) across multiple partners or institutions.
- Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (GDPR, Accessibility, AI Act).
- Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and cultures.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English; German fluency is an advantage.
- Desirable: experience in raw materials, circular economy, sustainability, or EU-funded projects, and hands-on knowledge of digital credentialing systems.
