This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Analyst (Manual) in the United States.
This role provides a hands-on opportunity to ensure software quality across complex, enterprise-level projects. The QA Analyst will design and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure releases meet functional and design specifications. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability. You will play a key role in improving testing practices, contributing to the overall stability of software applications. The role offers exposure to Agile development environments, end-to-end testing, and opportunities to influence QA standards and strategies across projects.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement test strategies and detailed test plans for cross-functional, complex projects.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results, identifying defects and reporting issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure software meets functional requirements and quality standards.
- Communicate testing status, results, and risks to project and organizational leadership.
- Engage with EDI and software stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Stay current with application features to ensure effective end-to-end testing and overall release quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of QA experience, including creating test strategies, plans, and scripts, and documenting results.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Experience in EDI and/or .NET development environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent technical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
