We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to work on high-impact projects involving large-scale data pipelines and applications in a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product teams, software engineers, and clinical or business stakeholders to optimize and maintain Python-based solutions. You will be responsible for refactoring, modularizing, and enhancing legacy systems, ensuring performance, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards. Accountabilities

• Analyze and refactor existing Python applications and scripts for improved efficiency and maintainability.
• Implement coding best practices, design patterns, and adhere to PEP8 standards.
• Conduct code reviews and recommend technical improvements.
• Debug and resolve issues in existing systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with product owners, data teams, and other stakeholders to ensure business logic and functionality are preserved.
• Document code changes and improvements clearly and concisely.
• Identify automation and performance tuning opportunities across data pipelines or services.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and core libraries such as pandas, numpy, and multiprocessing.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience with code profiling, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, SQL, and PySQL.
• Knowledge of data-driven systems, APIs, or data pipelines is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Preferred experience in healthcare data or related domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred for healthcare focus).
