This role offers the opportunity to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex in-flight entertainment (IFE) programs for advanced aircraft systems. You will manage cross-functional teams spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and certification, ensuring programs meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives while complying with regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes full program lifecycle ownership—from concept through certification, production, and delivery—while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic oversight, technical expertise in avionics or IFE systems, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. Accountabilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IFE programs on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
- Manage the full program lifecycle from concept through certification, production, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Serve as primary liaison for internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers regarding program status, technical progress, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA certification requirements and company quality standards.
- Oversee technical integration of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems.
- Drive change management, configuration control, and documentation processes.
- Support proposal development, cost estimation, and resource planning for new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in avionics engineering, IFE systems engineering, systems integration, or program management within commercial aerospace or defense.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs.
- Strong understanding of FAA Part 23/25 or EASA CS-23/25 certification processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Doors, or equivalent.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A compliance.
- Familiarity with commercial avionics and/or IFE systems integration.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
