We are seeking a skilled Operations System Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise M365 environments in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. This role is responsible for Tier II/III support, implementation of new features, and ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient operations across M365 services. You will lead technical initiatives, guide cross-functional teams, and serve as the final escalation point for complex issues. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform, with strong scripting skills in PowerShell. This position offers the chance to shape best practices, enhance governance models, and deliver high-impact solutions across a global organization.
Accountabilities:
- Provide Tier II/III support for M365 applications and related integrations.
- Design, implement, and optimize new functionality using M365 native tools such as Power Platform and Copilot.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance policies are implemented and maintained across the tenant.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams and resolve escalated, complex technical issues.
- Automate operational processes using PowerShell and other automation tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on M365 administration and operational standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in M365 administration or engineering in large enterprise environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Azure AD.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., MS-101, MS-500, Enterprise Administrator Expert).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience leading technical projects and providing mentorship to junior team members.
- Ability to work onsite at client or corporate locations as needed, with occasional business travel.
