As a Lead Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions that support complex business operations. You will design and execute testing strategies, lead automation and performance testing initiatives, and mentor team members to adopt best practices in testing and deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test plans, ensuring that applications meet regulatory standards and user expectations. Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and strategies to ensure software quality.
- Conduct and review quality control tests and analyses, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Lead automation and performance testing initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Encourage best practices in coding, testing, and deployment across the team.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead specialized projects, providing guidance on scalable testing solutions and process improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support clarity and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related engineering roles.
- Experience in developing test plans, scripts, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing, regression testing, and software quality standards.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving technical issues and recommending process improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, lead projects, and mentor junior team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
