For one of our clients, we are looking for a Java Development Leader, remotely from Spain.
As a Java Development Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the development of cutting-edge digital logistics solutions. You will lead a talented team of developers, ensuring the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable microservices. Your technical expertise and leadership will drive innovation and efficiency in software development. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex microservices using Java and AWS cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of developers in Spain and India.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align them with business goals.
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java developer or solution architect, specializing in microservices-based systems.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, with hands-on experience in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
- Familiarity with Docker and ECS is a plus.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration and communication.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a remote team.
- Proficiency in English (German and/or Spanish is a plus).
