We are seeking a highly skilled GSOC Lead Operator to play a critical role in monitoring, managing, and responding to security incidents across a global organization. This position provides real-time oversight of internal and external physical security events, ensuring the safety of employees, assets, and operations. The role requires leadership in coordinating incident response, leveraging advanced monitoring technologies, and maintaining situational awareness across multiple regions. You will serve as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries, support emergency response efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational readiness and security protocols. Accountabilities

• Monitor physical security systems and surveillance assets to detect unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or potential security incidents.
• Maintain situational awareness of global events through internal tools, open-source intelligence, and travel safety applications.
• Support access control, visitor management, and business traveler safety processes.
• Serve as the first point of contact for security incidents, coordinating with emergency response teams and dispatching resources as needed.
• Communicate effectively with employees during incidents, providing updates, guidance, and mass notifications when required.
• Document incidents in real-time and participate in post-incident reviews to implement corrective actions and improve response procedures.
• Contribute to operational excellence by advising on standard operating procedures (SOPs), training team members, and supporting initiatives that enhance GSOC capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a GSOC or equivalent security operations environment.
• 1+ years of experience in a lead operator or supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience with physical safety and security systems, including ACS, IDS, VSS, VMS, travel safety, and mass notification tools.
• Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) research tools.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and playbooks accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overlapping global hours.
• English language proficiency required.
  Desired: Customer service mindset, proficiency with Google Suite, additional language skills, and comfort with high-tech environments.
