This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development and refinement of advanced AI systems by labeling, categorizing, and structuring diverse datasets. You will work remotely and independently, ensuring high-quality data inputs that improve AI reasoning, perception, and overall accuracy. Accountabilities:
The Generalist Data Labeling Specialist will be responsible for accurate and consistent data annotation to support AI model development:
- Annotate and classify text, images, and multimedia data according to defined project guidelines.
- Apply rubrics and taxonomies to ensure high-quality labeling and consistency.
- Synthesize large volumes of information into structured, usable outputs.
- Identify and flag errors, ambiguities, or inconsistencies in datasets.
- Support evaluation and enhancement of AI reasoning and perception systems.
- Maintain productivity and quality under flexible, remote working conditions.
Requirements
Candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently while maintaining high accuracy:
- Based in the United States.
- Strong analytical, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Ability to process and structure complex information efficiently.
- Prior experience in data labeling, content moderation, taxonomy development, or linguistic annotation is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a fully remote environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality in independent work.
