Fullstack Software Engineer (Remote - EU)

In this role, you will join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to building and improving data-rich products that empower individuals and businesses worldwide. You will work across the stack — from backend services to user-facing interfaces — ensuring seamless, high-quality features. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you’ll help shape solutions that balance usability, scalability, and performance. Accountabilities

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain features across the full stack, including backend services and user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and define technical approaches.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Test thoroughly, contribute to QA handoff, and support deployment processes.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Create and maintain internal documentation to ensure knowledge sharing.
• Actively contribute ideas to improve engineering practices and product quality.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• 2–6 years of professional experience as a software engineer working on web applications.
• Strong backend experience with Ruby or a similar language (Hanami experience a plus).
• Solid SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frameworks (Ember, React, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Experience working in Agile teams, with openness to feedback and collaboration.

Nice-to-have skills include:

• Experience with JSONAPI or other API integration standards.
• Familiarity with Sidekiq, Hanami, or cloud deployment tools.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization or accessibility standards.
• Previous exposure to property management or short-term rental systems.
