Front End Engineer II (Remote - US)

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user interface components and web applications using React.js.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, developers, and testers to define and implement technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and optimize application performance.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebase and application functionalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of programming experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level front-end development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, component lifecycle, and UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha), GITLAB, Jira, Confluence, and ORACLE databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in regulated financial organizations is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and remote teams.
