This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Operations/Strategy in AMER, APAC, and EMEA.
We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to partner closely with the cofounder in driving company-wide initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic priorities. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can add structure to processes, facilitate coordination across departments, and act as a trusted representative for executive decision-making. You will influence high-level planning, foster a culture of collaboration, and ensure that operational excellence is maintained across the organization. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and enjoys translating strategy into tangible outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Lead annual and quarterly strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment across all teams with company objectives.
- Track, monitor, and report on goals and roadmaps to ensure they support the overall mission and strategy.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination, resolving dependencies and operational bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare the cofounder for meetings by providing data, insights, market context, and strategic recommendations.
- Represent the cofounder in meetings, ensuring accurate communication of their perspective.
- Draft executive communications, reports, and documents, maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, business development, investment banking, consulting, or a similar role in a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and company-wide strategic planning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, capable of navigating complex business challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- MBA, consulting, or investment banking experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of open source software and artificial intelligence is desirable.
