This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Integration Engineer III in the United States.

You will partner with business analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The position involves end-to-end responsibility for ingestion, transformation, and extraction of data, with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and performance. You will troubleshoot complex data issues, define interface specifications, and ensure adherence to data standards while continuously improving processes. Accountabilities:
- Lead and implement high-impact data integration projects, including pipelines for new customer implementations and internal system connections.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to define requirements for data ingestion, transformation, and extraction.
- Build, test, and deploy scalable, well-documented data pipelines aligned with established data standards.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues; perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve data reliability.
- Partner with teams to diagnose platform or processing issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop deep subject-matter expertise in platform data models, integration patterns, and healthcare administrative data sources.
- Maintain consistency across data models, create source-to-target mappings, and produce interface definitions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to technical discussions, and help refine architecture, tooling, and automation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data-centric testing, database environments, and integration projects; healthcare claims or enrollment data experience is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data validation, multidimensional data models, and concepts such as slowly changing dimensions (SCD) and change data capture (CDC).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Talend or similar) is a plus.
- Experience working on agile teams within a CI/CD development environment.
- Ability to translate complex data and business requirements into functional specifications and scalable data solutions.
- Strong foundation in data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation at scale.
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
