We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong analytical focus to help design, maintain, and optimize the organization’s core data products. The role emphasizes the operationalization and enrichment of data, enabling teams to leverage insights for decision-making across multiple business functions. You will collaborate closely with analysts and data scientists to develop efficient, scalable solutions while maintaining data governance standards. This position is ideal for a data analyst looking to transition into data engineering or a current data engineer wanting a role with deeper analytical engagement. Accountabilities:
- Own and manage the enrichment layer of the data stack, creating and maintaining data products and marts for analysts and scientists.
- Develop and maintain a centralized Metric Library as a single source of truth for KPIs across the organization.
- Embed with analytics teams to understand critical business needs and design scalable, efficient data solutions.
- Produce, deploy, and maintain solutions independently, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, peer code review, and team best practices.
- Support and maintain the broader data ecosystem, including infrastructure deployment, data pipeline creation, and data lake management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer, with preference for experience in clickstream data.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and databases (BigQuery, Redshift preferred) and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of Python (Airflow preferred) and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with event-based architectures (Kafka preferred).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across executives, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to design scalable solutions.

- Annual base salary range: $140,000–$145,000 USD (total compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location).
