Controls Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting control systems for mission-critical mechanical infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operations across high-performance environments. Accountabilities:

• Support the programming of control sequences for mechanical infrastructure and automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to meet performance and reliability objectives.
• Assist in hardware troubleshooting and repairs to maintain critical infrastructure operations.
• Document engineering activities, prepare technical reports, and present updates to stakeholders.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in controls engineering to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Participate in project coordination and contribute to the continuous improvement of system design and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of control sequence programming and automation systems.
• Experience or internship background in controls engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with the Tridium Niagara platform is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote and cross-functional settings.
• Willingness to occasionally travel (up to 10%) and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when necessary.
• Reliable internet connection and access to electricity for remote work.
