Accountabilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize backend services that power crypto products.
- Design and implement APIs and event-driven architectures to handle high-volume transaction processing efficiently and securely.
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure scalability, observability, and resilience.
- Contribute to internal documentation, tooling, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing, reviews, and automation.
- Participate in cross-functional planning with product and platform teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or distributed systems development.
- Proven track record building production-grade APIs and financial services at scale.
- Proficiency in Node.js or similar modern backend frameworks (TypeScript, NestJS, Go, or Java).
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, AWS, and microservices or event-driven systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with product, platform, and engineering teams.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to execute with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
