As an Azure Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions across enterprise-scale environments. You’ll lead the development of reference architectures, guide implementation teams, and ensure alignment with best practices in scalability, performance, and security. Working in a global delivery context, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud-native strategies and modernize legacy systems. This position is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about building innovative cloud solutions that drive business transformation.
Accountabilities
- Design and implement Azure-native architectures that meet enterprise-grade scalability, availability, and security requirements.
- Develop reference implementations and frameworks to support developers during the build phase.
- Conduct regular architecture and code reviews to ensure adherence to solution design and technical standards.
- Lead end-to-end design of cloud-native, full-stack solutions, including single-page applications, microservices, mobile apps, containerized workloads, and data platforms (SQL and NoSQL).
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud strategies.
- Stay current with Azure advancements and emerging technologies to continuously improve solution design and delivery.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Information Technology, including 6+ years in technology architecture or consulting.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, services, and security best practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, DevOps integration, and infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying microservices, containerized applications, and full-stack cloud solutions.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
- Solid experience in designing systems integrating RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to collaborate in global delivery environments.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
