In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering advanced cloud-based data solutions that power business transformation. You will collaborate with clients to guide their cloud adoption journey, architect scalable data lake environments, and implement robust data governance and quality frameworks. Working in a highly collaborative and innovation-driven environment, you will leverage cutting-edge AWS technologies to build secure, high-performance data ecosystems. Accountabilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of data solutions on AWS, including data lake architectures and ingestion frameworks.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to customers throughout their cloud adoption journey.
- Design and develop data quality and governance solutions, ensuring best practices for data storage, cataloging, and lifecycle management.
- Build and automate data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and serving, using AWS native tools and services.
- Deliver high-quality technical content such as reference architectures, white papers, and automation scripts to support client initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies and solutions.
- Support solution development by gathering customer feedback and sharing implementation challenges to drive product and service improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and deploying data or DevOps solutions built on AWS in customer-facing environments.
- Strong knowledge of data lake architectures, big data lambda architectures, and orchestration frameworks.
- Proficiency with key AWS services including S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis, Step Functions, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on expertise with Apache Iceberg, SageMaker (Lakehouse, Catalog), Terraform, and experience with tools such as Airflow, Kafka, Parquet, Spark, Metaflow, and Hadoop.
- Solid programming skills in Python and experience with data ingestion, orchestration, and cataloging solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse technical and business teams.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
