We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Specialist to ensure the quality, accessibility, and usability of software products and web applications. In this role, you will conduct thorough testing, identify and document issues, and collaborate closely with development teams to implement effective solutions. You will play a key role in making products inclusive and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, while helping maintain high standards across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge, testing expertise, and excellent communication skills to enhance user experiences and drive continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility and software quality testing on web and software applications.
• Identify, document, and report issues with clarity and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure standards and guidelines are implemented effectively.
• Recommend improvements and remedial actions to enhance product accessibility and overall quality.
• Stay updated with the latest accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Support cross-functional teams to maintain a seamless user experience for all end users.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices, including WCAG.
• Experience with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and ARIA.
• Proficiency with both manual and automated testing tools and browser debugging tools.
• Technical skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot accessibility-related issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey findings and recommendations.
• Keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience conducting accessibility audits and implementing WCAG-compliant solutions is a plus.
