Who We're Looking For:
We are looking to hire a Mid-to-Senior Level DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and will employ modern DevOps practices to improve our development team’s productivity and system reliability.
Problem-solving is key to the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking. Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and SAM
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and system integrations
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with development teams to streamline deployments
- Implement automation frameworks for security, performance, and availability
- Analyze infrastructure performance and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, policies, and procedures
- Gather and aggregate logs and metrics into actionable insights
Some Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of professional cloud engineering or DevOps experience
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, SAM, and GitHub Actions
- Proficient in Python scripting
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees):
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
- Salary is negotiable based on qualifications, certifications, and experience

Other Information
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
