Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Python, and experience with C# to join a mission-critical team focused on event attendance and ticketing systems. The role involves owning backend initiatives end-to-end, working across APIs, databases, and internal tools, and collaborating closely with product and cross-functional stakeholders. You should be comfortable operating with partial ambiguity, taking ownership, and delivering reliable solutions independently.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working with Python, including at least 1–2 years of recent hands-on experience

• Hands-on professional experience working with C#

• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL(or similar relational databases), including writing SQL

  queries and schema migrations, as well as debugging performance issues in queries

• Experience debugging and supporting production systems using observability tools such as Datadog or similar

• Comfort working with non-technical partners

• Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code

• Experience making frontend changes in React, TypeScript, or HTML/CSS for internal-facing tools
