Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, multi-phase physical security technology program for a high-visibility global enterprise client. This is a client-facing, execution-critical role that sits at the intersection of professional services delivery, enterprise operations, and physical security technology, requiring equal parts strategic leadership and hands-on program rigor.

Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will serve as the single accountable owner across a portfolio of 5-10+ concurrent projects spanning access control, video management systems (VMS), and integrated security platforms. You will lead junior project managers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across operations, IT, and corporate security functions.

The Senior Program Manager is the single most critical factor in whether this global enterprise client achieves its physical security transformation goals - on time, at scale, and with confidence. Beyond delivery, this person shapes how Professional Services operates at enterprise level, building the processes, team capabilities, and client relationships that define the company's reputation in the market.

This role demands someone who is urgency-driven, deeply organized, and comfortable operating with high autonomy in fast-moving, multi-time zone environments.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Program Ownership and Delivery

  • Own the full program lifecycle - from kickoff and planning through phased rollout, go-live, and post-deployment stabilization - across a global enterprise client's physical security technology estate
  • Develop and maintain an integrated master program plan encompassing timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget tracking across all active workstreams and geographic deployment phases
  • Maintain a continuous program health view, proactively identifying cross-workstream interdependencies, scope risks, and schedule conflicts before they affect delivery velocity
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, with clear accountability at every level of execution
  • Conduct structured post-mortems and capture lessons learned to drive repeatable improvement across the program and the broader professional services organization

Team Leadership and PMO Development

  • Lead, direct, and develop a team of Junior Project Managers, establishing consistent delivery standards, accountability structures, and coaching cadences
  • Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and elevate team performance across all concurrent delivery activities
  • Contribute to the build-out and continuous refinement of PMO frameworks, delivery templates, and operational playbooks suited to large-scale, multi-site enterprise deployments
  • Champion knowledge transfer and mentorship to grow the next tier of program delivery talent within the organization

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the executive-level program interface for the client, building trusted relationships with VP and C-suite stakeholders across operations, IT, facilities, and corporate security functions
  • Lead structured governance touchpoints - including weekly status reviews, monthly program health reports, and quarterly executive briefings - ensuring clear, proactive communication on progress, risk, and decisions needed
  • Facilitate change management activities to drive stakeholder alignment and technology adoption across distributed locations and regional teams
  • Identify and surface expansion opportunities within the account and engage Sales to evaluate commercial growth potential
  • Manage and resolve program-level escalations with urgency, coordinating across internal engineering, product, and deployment teams to maintain program continuity
  • Travel periodically to client sites for key milestones, regional rollouts, and critical go-live events (estimated 20-30%)

Risk and Issue Management

  • Anticipate and proactively manage risks, blockers, and dependencies - not reactively, but as a standing program discipline
  • Escalate critical issues rapidly to executive leadership with clear problem framing and recommended resolution paths
  • Manage scope, timeline, and budget changes through disciplined change control processes in collaboration with senior leadership and client stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain living risk registers, issue logs, and mitigation plans as core program governance artifacts

Operational Excellence and Reporting

  • Establish and enforce program governance structures, reporting cadences, and KPIs that provide real-time visibility into delivery health across all workstreams
  • Produce and maintain high-quality program documentation including roadmaps, RAID logs, executive status decks, and deployment runbooks
  • Leverage Salesforce and project management tool to track program activities, resource utilization, and financial performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency - shortening ramp times, reducing rework, and improving repeatable deployment outcomes across rollout phases
  • Develop a working knowledge of the physical security product suite (access control, VMS, integrated platforms) sufficient to guide deployment teams and credibly advise client stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive Program Management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology deployment environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs for large enterprise or Fortune 500 clients
  • Proven track record leading and developing teams of Project Managers and cross-functional contributors
  • Strong executive presence with ability to communicate clearly and drive decisions at all organizational levels, including C-suite
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across time zones and geographies
  • Experience managing program-level budgets, financials, and resource forecasting
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce and project/program management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while staying aligned with organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent formal certification
  • Experience delivering physical security technology solutions - including access control, video surveillance (VMS), or integrated security platforms - in a professional services or systems integration context
  • Experience managing large-scale deployments across distributed, multi-site, or multi-region enterprise environments; experience in retail, hospitality, healthcare, or similarly complex consumer-facing industries is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with physical security software platforms (e.g., access control management, video intelligence systems)
  • Background in building or scaling PMO frameworks within a professional services organization
  • Experience contributing to pre-sales efforts, including SOW development, scope estimation, or solution scoping for enterprise accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
