JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE

The Business Applications Program Manager is responsible for engaging internal and external stakeholders, managing, and delivering the full suite of applications within Inframark’s Community Management Services (CMS). The primary responsibility of the Business Applications Program Manager is to oversee the strategy, implementation and maintenance of Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure it supports the business goals efficiently. Other platforms that fall under the remit of the Business Applications Program Manager include AP and Invoice automation (AvidXchange or equivalent), ADP solutions, and Jet Reports. This position is highly visible and requires the ability to manage complex application upgrades / end to end implementations and being able to prioritize, plan, analyze, and translate business requirements into system solutions, applying knowledge of system functionality, process improvements and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and assist users in utilizing the various software platforms within CMS, including translating business needs into solution requirements (building as-is, BRDs and to-be process maps), managing software and service providers, and assisting the development team in system implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for business process optimization, implement application solutions to enhance productivity, and evaluate emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning for integration.
  • Facilitate training sessions, create documentation, and provide ongoing suhpport to ensure end-users are proficient with business applications.
  • Plan and manage resources accordingly to ensure successful implementations
  • Manage budgets and team schedules; Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Review all deliverables, including requirements documents, design documents, training documents.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Work with the M&A integration team to integrate CMS’ acquisitions into the corporate systems/platforms.
  • Maintain and manage the portfolio of applications supporting the CMS business division through internal development governance protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, or any related field in a supervisory or higher role and have been in a functional role
  • 2 – 5 years of software development project experience
  • 1 – 3 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record in Microsoft Dynamics/Navigator/Jet Reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

SKILLS

  • General knowledge of applications architecture and data architecture
  • Ability to effectively work in a flexible and dynamic environment with competing and changing priorities
  • Strong organization skill with ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
  • Intimate knowledge of the general workings of ERP systems – including P2P/AR/AP and GL
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making process
  • Strong experience in business systems implementations
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Self-driven and result-oriented, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience in managing external stakeholders including consultants / software providers supporting system implementations
  • Clear written and verbal communications skills; includes communications with internal and external stakeholders where clarity and confirmation of understanding is essential
  • Ability to both formally and informally present to peers and senior management
  • Ability to challenges processes and develop logical arguments and voice them appropriately in all types of situations
  • Project management skills: ability to actively participate and lead in cross functional project teams to drive results
  • Collaborative skills are essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and robust data management / governance skills. Hands on project management experience highly preferable
