The ideal candidate isn't just a coder but a collaborator who enjoys building features customers love, thinking beyond technical tickets to focus on usability, workflows, and genuine customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Lead the end-to-end development of features for the Strety SaaS platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Product Collaboration: Actively participate in product decisions, offering technical insights to improve usability and customer workflows.
- Rapid Iteration: Work within a fast-moving environment to ship, test, and improve product experiences based on user feedback.
- Technical Ownership: Take full ownership of code quality and system robustness while maintaining an "ownership mindset" toward the product's mission.
- Proactive Coordination: Maintain high levels of responsiveness and clarity in a fully remote, distributed team setting.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Must Haves
- Senior level Ruby on Rails experience, ideally 5 plus years in rails. Can flex if needed if they are senior and only have 3 years or something in rails.
- Has worked for U.S. based companies before
- Very fluent in spoken and written English. And Strong communicator who is proactive, clear, and responsive
- Comfortable working in a fast moving, product focused SaaS environment
- Product Mindset, Very Important
