The role will focus on end-to-end mechanical HVAC design work, including system design, documentation, and coordination with construction teams to ensure accurate and buildable project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC mechanical design, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Strong capability in duct design, duct layout planning, and shop drawing production
- Experience with HVAC load calculations and mechanical system sizing
- Familiarity with mechanical construction documentation and coordination processes
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Codes (preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in technical drafting and documentation
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with project teams
- Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving
