Job Role: Executive Assistant (Part-time)
Compensation range: $1,100 AUD - $1,400 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to require roughly 20 hours per week. As a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your schedule, but availability for occasional collaboration during AU business hours is essential.

Who The Client Is: A growing Australian provider of home and community support services, focused on delivering personalised care that helps individuals maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life.
Role Overview: You'll report primarily to one manager while supporting multiple departments across the business. This is a varied, hands-on role. We're looking for someone who can plug in wherever needed, figure things out, and get things done.
Starting at approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to working longer hours depending on the business and workload needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administration support for department managers: calendar coordination, task tracking, documentation checking
- Assisting HR department with documentation checks and compliance requirements
- Assist with CRM and database updates, and general client administration support across ongoing projects
- Using AI tools to improve personal workflows and operational efficiency
- Assisting the marketing department with basic marketing tasks such as scheduling posts and coordinating simple admin support for campaigns and content.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without constant direction.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills is very important.
- Comfortable working across multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior remote experience in Executive Assistant, administration, operations, or other general support roles working with international clients is required. Previous experience working with Australian clients is a strong advantage.
- Adaptable and resourceful, with experience handling a variety of tasks rather than a narrowly focused role
- Confident using AI tools and automation platforms, ideally with practical experience improving workflows, building prompts, or streamlining processes using AI
- Experience using Asana and Slack is highly preferred
- Reliable, discreet, and professional when handling sensitive information, compliance tasks, and internal communications
- Open to working longer hours depending on business and workload needs.
- Knowledge of the Australian NDIS and Aged care system is highly advantageous.
- Must be comfortable with online video conferencing.
- Experience using Canva or creating marketing materials is highly preferred.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:
This is a remote role that may be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
- Be available for meetings and collaboration during core AEST business hours
- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
- Complete a confidentiality and non disclosure agreement within the contractors workplace contract
