Responsibilities:

  • Review software functionality requirements, identify test cases, and test the product.
  • Participate in test planning, write test cases/scripts, and execute tests.
  • Document all issues and support their resolution.
  • Support projects throughout the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, and production release.
  • Isolate, reproduce, and track defects, and verify fixes.
  • Report progress on issue resolution to management.
  • Apply practical knowledge of multiple testing methodologies and execute various testing types, including functional (system/integration), security/vulnerability, performance/load/stress, compliance/accessibility, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist with the design and requirements for new products.
  • Provide analysis and consulting support to development and support teams.
  • Adhere to the company’s information security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in software testing, including SAP-related exposure.
  • Background in both manual and automation-based testing.
  • Involvement across the full SDLC, from requirements and design through validation and production release.
  • Experience reviewing functionality, identifying test scenarios, and carrying out structured test execution.
  • Practice in isolating defects, reproducing issues, tracking them through resolution, and confirming fixes.
  • Exposure to a broad range of testing types, including functional, integration, regression, UAT, security, performance, load, stress, compliance, and accessibility testing.
  • Experience providing QA analysis and support to development and support teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile testing environments.

Education & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge of QA processes, tools, and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to prepare test plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting evidence.
  • Capability in defect tracking and test case documentation.
  • Hands-on use of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Good formal documentation capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing workload and priorities effectively.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
  • Close attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Good grasp of testing approaches, defect handling, and QA discipline.
  • Ability to produce clear test artefacts and supporting documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Good planning and organizational ability across testing activities.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery quality.
