Hope for Haiti is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead fundraising, relationship building, and donor engagement strategy. The CDO will cultivate and steward major donors, oversee development operations, engage the Board of Directors in fundraising, and ensure a best-in-class donor journey.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development, preferably with an international focus
  • Proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations
  • Demonstrated success engaging and mobilizing Board members in fundraising efforts
  • Strong leadership experience managing diverse teams and fundraising portfolios
  • Experience with grants management, compliance, and reporting
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and donor management systems
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
