Job Description:

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC has an opening for a Senior SAP ERP Analyst in Michigan City, Indiana. This position is 100% remote; may work anywhere in the United States.

Configure SAP S4/HANA MM, WM and EWM functionality and provide guidance to offshore teams for any required development related to the MM & EWM functions and integration to other modules. Integrate services such as SAP EDI, SAP PI with our 3PL trading partners and with the manufacturing systems on the plant floor. Interface and use radio frequency devices (RF), weighing, labeling and warehouse stock movements. Interface with RF devices for warehouse transactions. Batch manage, serialize and handle units. Responsible for inbound processing from supplier, internal warehouse processes, physical inventory, replenishment in warehouse, outbound processing to customer, yard management, core inventory management, customer returns, empties & returnable packaging, scrapping in warehouse, supplier returns, cross docking, exception processing. Configure SAP MM, including purchasing, inventory management and invoice verification. Support procurement of direct and indirect materials, vendor management, and batch traceability. Participate in system validation, documentation, and user training. Utilize SAP functional modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and analytics like HANA, CDS. Integrate using SAP PI/PO, ABAP, OData, tax management system, and supplier portal. Utilize ABAP debugging techniques and enhancement frameworks. Utilize SAP Fiori concepts and usage of Fiori in business process.

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as an SAP ERP Analyst or in a related role leading SAP MM/WM projects. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience working with SAP MM/WM/EWM, including full life-cycle implementation experience; at least 5 years of experience with SAP MM/WM configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules; at least 5 years of experience with leading SAP projects and working with cross-functional teams; demonstrable experience with SAP master data management; demonstrable experience with global trade processes and compliance requirements; and demonstrable experience with analytics using SAP CDS views and usage of PI/PO for integration.
