Senior Account Manager - Data Center Sales
The Opportunity
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build and expand relationships with strategically important data center customers to support long-term account growth
- Define and drive sales targets and growth margins, ensuring consistent follow-up and achievement of goals
- Contribute to the development and execution of account strategies based on customer business priorities and long-term plans
- Manage account planning activities, including opportunity prioritization and solution positioning across product and service offerings
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions and meet customer expectations across multiple business areas
- Establish trusted advisor relationships by guiding customers through available options and technical considerations
- Monitor competitor activity within assigned accounts and help shape response strategies to maintain market position
- Support customer satisfaction efforts, including maintaining strong Net Promoter Score outcomes
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in technical sales, sales, engineering, project management, and/or marketing; 5 additional years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience working with clients in the data center market
- Understanding of power systems, electrical products, large capital assets, and associated technologies a must
- Ability to develop sales strategies, navigate customer options and alternatives, and coordinate activities across multiple functions
- Sound business acumen and ability to engage customers as a trusted advisor
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% on average
