The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing of services and goods for various categories and will work with the global team for global category project execution. The role involves managing sourcing projects, reverse auctions, and initiatives, developing and maintaining a best-in-class global preferred supply base, and leading negotiations with suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering Preferred
- Basic procurement law with correlating ability to author/negotiate/oversee is a plus
- Experience in one of the following categories, but willing to train: Facilities, Marketing, Human Resources, or IT, Finance
- Strong business acumen, including good strategy, financial and operational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and must be a team player
- Strong supplier management skills
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), specially Excel
- Able to pick up eSourcing tool environment
- Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus
- Able to navigate a fast-paced multi-national environment with personnel from all over the many regions and will seek to foster excellent working relationships
