This company is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist – Roofing Ads to own and lead high-performance advertising across Google Search and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). This is not a task-based execution role; it is a performance-driven partnership with real accountability to business results.
The strategist will own paid media performance, drive creative direction, guide landing page strategy, and consistently deliver high-quality, sales-ready roofing leads. Compensation includes a base salary plus up to 2% revenue share, tied directly to performance. Candidates must be highly focused on CPL, CPA, and ROAS, and comfortable being held accountable to real revenue outcomes.
- Plan, launch, and manage high-performing roofing ad campaigns across Google Search Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), targeting residential and/or commercial customers.
- Own and scale daily ad budgets ranging from $100 to $3,000+ based on performance, with a strong focus on profitability and revenue impact.
- Provide clear creative direction for video ads, image ads, hooks, openers, ad copy, and headlines that drive conversions.
- Collaborate closely with the internal design team to guide landing page layout and strategy, ensuring alignment with ad messaging and conversion goals.
- Optimize campaigns daily using performance data, adjusting bids, keywords, targeting, creatives, and funnels to stay within KPIs.
- Run continuous A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and offers to identify and scale high-performing combinations.
- Deliver clear, concise weekly performance reports with actionable insights (no fluff).
- Stay current on platform updates, advertising trends, and competitor strategies within the roofing and home services space.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience running paid ads & media buying.
- 1-3 working with roofing companies (residential or comercial)
- Proven ability to generate high-quality roofing leads at a target CPL of $100 ± $50.
- Currently achieving strong results through Meta Ads and Google Ads (Search + Local Services Ads)
- Deep understanding of roofing market behavior, sales cycles, and regional seasonality.
Expert-level knowledge of: Google Search Ads: Campaign structure, keywords, bidding, and optimization & Facebook Ads Manager: Campaign setup, audience targeting, retargeting, and conversion tracking. - Strong ad copywriting skills tailored to roofing prospects.
- Ability to provide visual examples of ad creatives and funnel strategies with performance metrics (CPL, CPA, ROAS). Candidates must be prepared to present samples during the interview process
- Ability to direct landing page strategy for designers to support ad performance.
- Self-starter who can work independently and drive results without constant oversight.
- Experience with landing page builders (e.g., ClickFunnels, Unbounce, Instapage).
- Familiarity with roofing CRMs (e.g., JobNimbus, AccuLynx).
- Knowledge of platform compliance and advertising rules for roofing and construction.
- Candidates must bring examples of Meta ad creatives and funnels they’ve personally used, with proven success in achieving strong CPL and CPA metrics in the roofing space.
- They must take full ownership of the creative direction, guiding the team on what they need (assets, scripts, design, etc.) rather than waiting for instructions.
- The candidate must bring proven Meta ad results to the table and be able to share examples, whether by hiding sensitive details or under NDA if needed **
- CPL must consistently fall within $50–$150 for qualified roofing leads.
- Primary KPIs: CPL, CPA, and ROAS.
- You must meet KPI targets within the first 30 days.
- 90-day probationary period: We will evaluate consistency, communication, and overall performance across 3 months.
- We are looking for a results-driven strategist, not a passive campaign manager.
