HPE is looking for a senior-level Software Engineering Resolution Engineer to join our Level 3 global service HPC team. The role involves providing support for high performance computing cluster management on a variety of supercomputer and cluster-based products, analyzing Linux and performance issues, and facilitating high-quality communication with customers.
Requirements
- Provide technical support for customer reported issues escalated to level 3 support.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, reproduce, isolate, escalate, and resolve issues.
- Facilitate high quality communication with customers.
- Work with various HPE teams, including but not limited to, HPE Level 2 support, Publications, Training, Support Planning, Testing and Development.
- Designs engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Leads a project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for moderately- complex products.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
- Test and provide new system software updates and documentation via customer portal.
- Document and communicate throughout the whole process of working on an issue until closure.
