Reporting to the EU Director for Central Infrastructure, the Senior Manager for EUC Engineering will have global responsibility in creating and delivering an excellent computing experience for a dynamic and high impact community to enhance the satisfaction of our enterprise user base. This is a highly visible and user facing role, requiring leadership and partnership with many IT and Business functional areas. This key role manages all End User office technologies, including desktop, laptop, mobile, telephony and video conferencing, with broad responsibilities for delivery of our key user services.

GXO EUC Engineers are highly skilled and technically competent members of the GXO Logistics IT Team. They provide system and application technical support while ensuring that all service level agreements and project goals are achieved. This position will require leading the EU team in the above-mentioned technological areas

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Responsible for the EUC Engineering team in support of Active Directory, identity management, Office365, AzureAD, SCCM, desktop and mobility services, and unified communications
  • Vendor Management - service level attainment tracking & reporting as a component of overall governance reporting and IT metrics
  • Manages appropriate capacity of the services to meet resource supply and demand specific projects
  • Manages relationships and communications with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Contributes to process improvement by constantly refining service delivery model based on advancing technology
  • Directs efforts to create and enhance standards/best practices and drive adoption across the technical team
  • Converts business requirements into technology requirements
  • Maintains operations by utilizing a combination of internal resources as well as external vendors
  • Monitor the performance of the team and make sure the SLAs and KPIs are met

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience
  • ITIL Certification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in managing a support team in a multinational organization
  • Experience leading projects hands-on from end to end
  • Ability to comply with tight deadlines
  • Customer service, strong relationship building, multi-tasking, self-learning and motivational skills

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree
