The Director of Environmental Sustainability plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing sustainable initiatives within an organization, aligning business strategies with environmental goals. The position can be based in one of multiple locations and requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, climate, and environment frameworks
  • Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and corporate governance frameworks
  • Proficiency in conducting climate and environment impact assessments, audits, and reporting
  • Experience in managing sustainability-related certifications, such as B Corp or ISO 14001
  • Understanding of supply chain management and ethical sourcing practices
