Role summary:
We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist who will ensure complete payroll processing, data verification, and employee tax management, while also actively contributing to process streamlining. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of payroll issues, experience with ADP, and familiarity with state and local tax obligations.
Your role:
- Payroll processing, including checking time records, corrections, tax adjustments, and other inputs
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll closing, including complete data collection and verification
- Ongoing management and updating of payroll procedures and documentation
- Preparation of regular and ad hoc reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Checking payroll processes for compliance with internal guidelines, audits, and legislation (including SOX)
- Actively addressing employee inquiries and providing support in accordance with legislation and collective agreements
Your profile:
- High school/university education and at least 3–5 years of experience in payroll
- Fluent knowledge of English and Hungarian
- Proven experience in payroll (ideally regional scope) and basic knowledge of tax and HR regulations
- Experience with ADP, knowledge of Kronos or working with other suppliers is an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to create and interpret reports
- Carefulness, attention to detail, and high standards when working with sensitive data
- Excellent communication skills and customer support orientation
