FIVE18 offers family services, care, counseling, and community resources needed to find relief and restore hope. Having done this for over 60 years, we are well-equipped and ready to help you. Our mission is to build communities of faithful relationships that ensure children are safe and families are restored. We employ a two-part strategy: meeting families right where they are to provide healing, restoration, and hope, and equipping the church and local communities for collaboration focused on prevention and reconciliation for vulnerable children and families.

Several programs exist under the FIVE18 umbrella, recognizing that the issues separating children from their families are often complex and nuanced. Family welfare requires multifaceted solutions, and we strive to provide those tools under a unified mission grounded in meaningful relationships. We believe that every child has the right to a safe and healthy home. By leading efforts to confront the root causes of foster care, we aim to support families and create safe environments for children. We foster partnerships within the community through initiatives like Vision30, aiming that by the end of 2030, every child in Lynchburg and nearby counties will be safe in their own family or with caregivers supported by local faith communities.
