The Supervisor-Operations manages and supervises the Claims Team to ensure claims are paid properly and timely in accordance with Regulatory standards, Health Net standards, and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Provide direction, leadership and mentoring for all staff
- Interact with client daily to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide production information
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with development of Individual Development Plans
- Conduct performance reviews and make hiring recommendations
- Review and analyze daily staff processing of claims
- Participate in development of operating goals and objectives for the unit
- Supervise and research appeals and reprocessing of claims
- Research and prepare scheduled and special reports
- Monitor and reduce expenses
- Prepare monthly billings/invoices
- Enter personnel information into HR Office
- Administer discipline and ensure procedures are followed
- Attend meetings and workshops, and participate on committees
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties
