The Supervisor-Operations manages and supervises the Claims Team to ensure claims are paid properly and timely in accordance with Regulatory standards, Health Net standards, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Provide direction, leadership and mentoring for all staff
  • Interact with client daily to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide production information
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with development of Individual Development Plans
  • Conduct performance reviews and make hiring recommendations
  • Review and analyze daily staff processing of claims
  • Participate in development of operating goals and objectives for the unit
  • Supervise and research appeals and reprocessing of claims
  • Research and prepare scheduled and special reports
  • Monitor and reduce expenses
  • Prepare monthly billings/invoices
  • Enter personnel information into HR Office
  • Administer discipline and ensure procedures are followed
  • Attend meetings and workshops, and participate on committees
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties
