Findex is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to step into the Manager role within our Virtual Operations A&T Pool. Reporting to the Virtual A&T Pool Lead, you’ll own the day-to-day running of a high-performing virtual team delivering compliance work across multiple offices in Australia.

This is a leadership role with real scope - managing workflow, developing people, driving quality, and building lasting relationships with office stakeholders. If you’re ready to move beyond doing and into leading at scale, this is your next step.

Your role, your contribution!

  • Operational oversight: Manage and coordinate workflow across multiple office portfolios, ensuring tasks are allocated and deadlines are met across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Quality assurance: Perform advanced review of compliance work, establish QA frameworks, and drive corrective actions where needed.
  • Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants - building a high-performing, engaged virtual team.
  • Stakeholder management: Act as a key contact for offices on compliance delivery, maintaining strong relationships and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Technical guidance: Provide advanced advice on complex accounting, tax, and compliance matters, and support resolution of escalated issues.
  • Continuous improvement: Support process, system, and operational improvements under the direction of the Virtual A&T Pool Lead.

What you will bring to the role!

  • 6+ years of accounting or compliance experience, with demonstrated leadership
  • Proven track record managing virtual or multi-site teams
  • Advanced knowledge of tax and accounting standards relevant to compliance delivery
  • Strong coaching and people development skills across onshore and offshore teams
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across geographically dispersed teams
  • Proficient in workflow management tools, A&T systems, and internal platforms
  • CA qualified (or equivalent); accounting degree required
  • CPD hours maintained and membership/registration current
