Group Trainer Salary – £35,868 - £44,835 per annum (plus benefits)

Hours – 37.5 hours per week

As a Trainer at FCC Environment, you will design, deliver and continuously improve high-quality training across operations, ensuring colleagues are competent, compliant and confident in carrying out their duties safely and effectively.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week. What will you be doing?

• Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes aligned to operational and compliance requirements- Deliver engaging classroom, virtual and practical training to managers, supervisors and operational teams- Support statutory and mandatory training compliance, including health safety and environmental requirements- Work closely with operational managers, HR and LD teams to identify training needs and support performance improvement- Ensure all training materials, records and assessments are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready- Embed a strong safety culture through training and best practice- Coach and support colleagues and managers, encouraging positive behaviours and standards- Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of training across sites- Travel to operational sites as required to deliver training and carry out assessments

What are we looking for?

• Level 5 Leadership qualification (or equivalent) – minimum requirement- The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of leadership practice, supported by proven leadership capability and demonstrable experience in delivering leadership qualifications to colleagues at all levels across the organisation- The ability to influence, coach, and develop colleagues across the business- Recognised training or teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education Training or equivalent)- Understanding of operational risk, health safety and compliance within a regulated environment- Experience delivering training to a range of audiences, including operational and leadership teams- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills- Ability to translate operational requirements into clear, practical training content- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
