Title: Software Engineer – Cloud & Web Applications
Location: Remote (Rochester, Minnesota-Based Team)

You’ll design, develop, and support robust applications that power clinical, data, and analytics systems—delivering real impact across healthcare operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs and relational databases (SQL).
- Collaborate with team leads, business users, and IT teams to gather and refine technical requirements.
- Contribute to the development of microservices and cloud-native solutions aligned with uptime and scalability goals.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and release management.
- Support deployment automation and configuration using tools like Azure Pipelines, ADO, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Document source code, processes, and implementation details to support long-term maintainability.
- Perform root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for complex system issues.
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5+ years of software development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and SQL.
- Strong experience building and supporting RESTful API integrations.
- Proficient in Agile Scrum practices and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), build pipelines, and modern development environments.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Java and Spring frameworks.
- Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
- Background in healthcare IT systems or clinical applications.
- Experience with scalable cloud services, big data, or analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of deployment tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (or 2 years of project experience) coding in a high-level language like Java, C++, Golang, or Python.
