Role Summary

EQ by Equiniti (EQ US) is actively introducing many new and enhanced products in the US market and engaged in continuous improvement throughout the business.

The position is part of the EQ US Strategic Integration function, reporting to the Head of Strategic Integration for EQ's Global Shareholder Services group.

This position will work with individuals and teams across EQ US and Equiniti UK to manage efforts that realize the EQ US business strategic objectives, initially focusing on the integration of the acquired Notified business, and extending to other strategic initiatives as agreed with or directed by the EQ GSS priorities.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Mobilizing the combined body of work for Commercial Excellence and Lead to Cash under a single operating program and with a common governance group.

  • Development of a consolidated roadmap of activity with clear, commercial direction and priority setting

  • Identifying and recommending operating and financial synergies to be achieved through integration; achieving buy-in from leadership on path to achieving synergy targets.

  • Appropriate engagement with senior business leads and Operating Committee members

  • Ideate, socialize and develop implementation strategy - Define vision, objectives, and scope, ensuring alignment with goals/business case for each transaction.

  • Create and manage the program plan – Customizing and executing the playbook for each transaction, outlining timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Identify and manage program risks – Proactive identification, management and mitigation of risks.

  • Monitor program progress and performance – development and management of performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with plan and goals; identify and drive/influence resolution of delays/issues.

  • Financial / budget management – in partnership with finance team(s), develop and manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

  • Communication and stakeholder management - Keep stakeholders informed about program progress, risks, and issues.; Provide regular updates to executive teams and other stakeholders.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Significant project management, change management, or similar delivery experience

  • Proven delivery experience in leading IT and functional integration on a large scale

  • Demonstrated experience in mobilizing large and diverse virtual teams not directly reporting to them

  • Demonstrated knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques

  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program

  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved

  • Strong executive presence with ability to distil messages for a range of stakeholders up to an including C-suite leadership

  • Working knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation processes and methods

  • Ability to seek and implement innovative ways to resolve problems

  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
