Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist enables the productivity and performance of the Sales team to meet revenue and customer onboarding goals by facilitating the closing of new sales opportunities, maintaining service levels at existing accounts, and supporting CRM-enabled analytics over our growing customer base.

This role is primarily responsible for supporting the success of new sales by utilizing Salesforce.com to drive analytical and visual problem-solving. Secondarily, the Specialist may be required to manage customer pilots and trials, conduct customer demos and trainings, and provide customer onboarding support. The Specialist will be a key facilitator of cross-functional alignment between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service in addressing evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish and maintain visual management of sales funnel using Salesforce.com

    • Monitor, track, and report on sales funnel KPIs; communicate gaps to Sales personnel and leadership on a regular basis

    • Expeditiously enable Sales to identify opportunities for additional pursuit through daily use of Salesforce.com

    • Ensure all sales activity in Salesforce.com is organized, updated, and accurately recorded

  • New business and campaign support

    • Help Sales and Marketing teams execute campaign directives, including up-selling, cross-selling, product conversions, product upgrades, and price campaigns

    • Develop supporting content for Sales to utilize in winning new deals

    • Conduct and/or assist with demos of products and services

    • Support customer trials and pilots of new products

  • New customer onboarding

    • Work with Customer Service and Shipping to ensure new customer orders are processed through efficient ERP management that corresponds to CRM data

    • Interface directly with customers by providing on-site and remote product setup and installation, customer training, and product calibration

    • Continuously develop training and troubleshooting materials

    • Assist Marketing in improving product manuals and SOPs based on customer feedback

  • Assist in market development

    • Communicate directly with customers to identify and record systemic business trends across and through the customer base

    • Provide accurate and actionable market information and insights to EnviroLogix’s Sales and Marketing functions to enable further development of key markets

Skills Required:

  • Determined self-starter; must be able to work effectively and efficiently in an independent role

  • Extremely organized and structured

  • Energetic and analytical problem-solver; must be able to utilize CRM and data to visually demonstrate root cause of gaps to company performance

  • Excellent attention to detail and able to set high standards for quality

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience using CRM systems; experience with Salesforce.com highly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in relevant field (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Finance preferred)
