Position Overview
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Coding Support – PRC is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of coding support functions within Ensemble’s Physician Revenue Cycle (PRC) organization.
This leader will drive quality, compliance, and productivity across coding operations, while partnering cross-functionally to enhance performance, scalability, and client outcomes in a highly dynamic, technology-enabled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end coding support operations across physician revenue cycle functions
- Provide strategic oversight of quality, accuracy, productivity, and compliance initiatives
- Manage and develop high-performing teams, including leaders, educators, and coding professionals
- Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to optimize workflows, leverage automation, and drive innovation
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and measurable outcomes
- Serve as a senior leader in client-facing engagements, supporting growth, retention, and operational alignment
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and coding standards (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, payer guidelines)
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical coding, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations
- Demonstrated success leading large, multi-site or remote coding teams
- Deep expertise in physician RCM, coding workflows, and regulatory compliance
- Strong experience driving quality improvement and productivity optimization initiatives
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with technology, product, and operational leaders
- Experience in scaling operations and leading transformation initiatives, including automation or AI-enabled workflows preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT) strongly preferred
Travel
- Up to 40% travel required to support client engagement, team alignment, and operational oversight
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is:
$150,000 – $190,000 annually, plus eligibility for bonus/incentive programs.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
