About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Director of Organic Growth to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution across all organic channelsincluding technical SEO, GEO, content, organic social, and emerging non-paid growth levers.

This leader will create the long-term vision for organic acquisition, partner with Product & Engineering on technical improvements, and build systems that drive compounding, sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Organic Growth Leadership

• Own the multi-year organic growth strategy across SEO, GEO, organic social, content, and owned media.
• Develop a cohesive roadmap for traffic, visibility, and engagement growth across the funnel.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate organic growth into the product lifecycle.

Technical SEO Oversight

• Lead the organizations technical SEO/GEO roadmap, including architecture decisions, crawl budget optimization, rendering, site migrations, Core Web Vitals, and schema strategy.
• Oversee diagnostics using tools like DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, GSC, and internal logs.
• Ensure technical SEO is embedded in engineering workflows and sprint processes.

Content & Search Experience Strategy

• Guide content strategy informed by search insights, user intent, and competitive trends.
• Ensure scalable systems for content creation, optimization, and performance measurement.
• Drive improvements to site taxonomy, internal linking, and discoverability.

Organic Social & Brand Presence

• Set the strategy for owned social channels to expand reach and deepen engagement.
• Oversee content frameworks, creator partnerships, and channel experimentation.
• Identify emerging platforms and opportunities to strengthen brand presence.

Experimentation, Analytics & Insights

• Build a comprehensive measurement framework across organic channels.
• Establish experimentation systems (A/B tests, SEO/GEO tests, content tests) and operationalize learnings.
• Report on insights, impact, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Leverage modern AI-based tools to optimize technical SEO workflows and unlock new efficiencies in GEO initiatives

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

• Build, mentor, and lead a team of social and content specialists
• Influence across Product, Engineering, Design, and Brand to drive organic-first thinking.
• Manage agency or vendor partnerships supporting organic growth.

Qualifications

• 8 - 12+ years of experience across SEO, content marketing, growth marketing, or digital strategy.
• Deep expertise in technical SEO for complex or large-scale sites.
• Track record of driving durable, compounding organic growth.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing multi-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with SEO diagnostic tools, BI tools, and experimentation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience of AEO

• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical leaders.
• Experience with AI-powered SEO and workflow automation tools (e.g., Anvil, Airops, and similar platforms) to accelerate technical diagnostics, content optimization, and scalable organic growth operations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with international SEO, app SEO/ASO, or multilingual optimization.
• Background in large-scale site migrations, re-platforming, or taxonomy - redesign.
• Experience with AI-driven content systems or modern headless CMS architectures.
• Strong understanding of social algorithms and brand storytelling.
