The Security Architecture and Engineering (SAE) Associate Director serves as a critical operational bridge between the Security Architecture & Engineering (SAE) team, SAE stakeholders across the company, and partner Cybersecurity organizations including Cyber Defense (GCDO) and Threat Mitigation. This role transforms operational friction into operational excellence by managing workflows, communications, and coordination that allows technical security experts to focus on complex security challenges.You'llsupport critical security operationswhile maintaining clear communication across teams and stakeholders. This is a high-impact role where your strong organizational skills, learning agility and security knowledge help reduce security risk exposure across the enterprise.

What You Will Do:

Cross-Team Operations & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate workflows and facilitate conversations between SAE, Cyber teams, and business stakeholders

  • Assist with the design, documentation, and continual improvement of operational processes for the SAE team

  • Track operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and influence process improvements

  • Help manage documentation of common security patterns such as reference architectures

Request Management & Escalation Coordination

  • Support the cyber review intake process and perform assessment of stakeholder requests

  • Prioritize and route requests to appropriate technical resources

  • Ensure consistent, timely communication to stakeholders who operate at many levels of seniority

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, reference materials and knowledge articles for the SAE team and stakeholders

  • Produce regular operational reports highlighting trends, metrics, and areas for improvement

Your Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology

  • 3-7years of professional experience in information security, IT operations, or related technical field

  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects or coordinating between technical teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution

What You Should Bring

  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (MITRE, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)

  • Prior experience in a consulting, stakeholder managementor technical project management role

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry security requirements

  • Background working in geographically distributed team environments

  • Strong analytical skills with experience creating metrics and operational dashboards

  • Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, Security+, or cloud security certifications (AWS Security, Azure Security)

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$124,500 - $200,200

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
