IT - Business Relationship Manager

About Edged Data Centers Edged is a fast-growing provider of sustainable data centers and energy infrastructure. The company builds and operates a global network of ultra-efficient, AI-ready data centers with waterless cooling for colocation, hyperscale and build-to-suit customers. The highly differentiated infrastructure platform is the first large-scale, global deployment of waterless cooling platform-wide and transforms data center growth into a catalyst for sustainable development. Edged is backed by a deep proprietary technology stack that will include renewable microgrid systems, ultra-clean generators, and waste-to-fuel solutions. The platform is designed for rapid deployment with more than a dozen new data centers operating or under construction across Europe and North America and a gigawatt-scale project pipeline.

The North American division of Edged is a joint venture between one of the largest private multinational corporations in the world and an affiliate of Endeavour. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

• Collaborate with business leaders in Operations, Service Delivery, Sales, Product, Accounts Receivable and Customer Care to understand their strategic goals, operational challenges, and technology needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business units, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Act as a liaison between external onshore/offshore/nearshore vendors, IT teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
• Partner with IT leadership and functional leaders to align business needs with the development and execution of the broader technology roadmap.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies that align with Edged Data Centers’ strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, system requirements, and IT strategies.

Needs Analysis, Process Optimization and Solution Design

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IT projects.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable technical tasks, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across business functions.
• Act as an advocate for business process optimization and innovation, leveraging technology to drive improvements.
• Develop end-to-end technology solutions that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable ROI.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across business functions.

Project and Change Management

• Lead and provide project management for technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are informed and supported during technology rollouts.
• Monitor and report on the progress of IT projects, addressing risks and ensuring timely delivery.
• Define and track KPI’s to measure the success and impact of IT initiatives on business outcomes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and identify lessons learned.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Process Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in a business relationship management, process improvement or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience in a firm that leases and manages data centers
• Experience with defining processes and technical solutions for computer maintenance management programs (CMMS) such as eMaint, Maximo or Infor
• Proven track record of translating business needs into technology solutions that deliver value.
• Experience in delivering solutions in one or more of the following business functions: Operations, Sales, Product, Accounts Receivable and Customer Care
• Experience with Data Center Operations Support Systems (OSS) a plus
• Experience with Carma/Dynamics CRM a plus.
• Experience with project management methodologies, particularly Agile a plus.
• Experience with Process Optimization/Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

• Proficient in documenting business requirements and creating actionable project plans.
