Opportunity The Contracts Manager will be a valued member of the Legal team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are looking for an outstanding contracts manager who can operate independently, support the Senior Counsel Construction, and collaborate directly with business leads. The Contracts Manager needs to be an agile, team-focused individual, with proven professionalism, who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person is highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works equally as well independently as with a team. Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Support the Senior Construction Counsel in the preparation, review, and finalization of contracts for the Platform Delivery organization, including all data center and substation design and construction agreements.
- Review vendor redlines and coordinate with Senior Construction Counsel and internal business stakeholders to reach closure on open issues.
- Lead document control and contract organization in SharePoint, Jira, and other contract management platforms.
- Maintain, update, and develop business-facing resources and training on contract processes and legal compliance.
- Maintain a professional, calm, and kind demeanor in all communications.
- Escalate issues to Senior Construction Counsel, business leadership, and SMEs when needed, to ensure all key stakeholders are engaged and issues are appropriately closed out.
- Attend cross functional meetings, identify action items, and drive timely follow up.
- Conduct legal and business research and support special projects for the Legal team.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Identify inefficiencies and proactively recommend and implement scalable solutions.
- Available for occasional travel.
Skills & Requirements Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience working in contract management role in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a corporate legal department or supporting construction projects will be viewed positively, but is not a strict requirement.
