Ecolab is currently seeking a Project Engineer Trainee to join our Industrial Engineering team in Madrid.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the equipment engineering & automation projects from enquiry, initial scoping, basic design through to detailed engineering, supply, commissioning & start-up as required by the project manager/team.

  • Work closely with the main Nalco partners/vendors and interface with third-party equipment providers as required.

  • Technical and admin tasks related to proposal preparation, documentation, back-office, system design, project scoping, project development and execution of new equipment solutions and automation opportunities.

  • Project control and expediting tasks.

  • Document control.

  • Ensure compliance with project KPIs (safety, quality, costs and time) and compliance with all Nalco Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.

  • Transport and logistics activities related with project execution tasks and equipment supply.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automatic or Chemical Engineering.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Problem Solving attitude.

  • Autocad/drafting knowledge is a plus.

  • The position is based in the Alcalá de Henares office. A valid license and own vehicle are required.
