- You take end-to-end ownership over what you build: design, implement, ensure quality, operate and extend
- You debug issues, perform root cause analysis and apply fixes in a timely manner
- You collaborate closely with our internal product team to ensure high-impact and direct feedback
- You develop knowledge, processes and organization of the IT department
- You have successfully completed your studies (for example in computer science or informatics) and 5+ years of experience building high-performance APIs & microservices with Java (v17/21) and Spring Boot (3.x)
- Strong knowledge of Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor) for scalable, non-blocking systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, SQS, etc.) and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL (or other relational DBs) and optimizations for high-throughput systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS)
- Familiarity with API-first development (OpenAPI/Swagger) and REST/HTTP best practices
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, ArgoCD)
- Passion for clean, maintainable code (TDD, DDD, or hexagonal architecture is a plus) and leadership in driving projects from design to production
- You enjoy working in a diverse team of dedicated and experienced software engineers and show positive, "can-do attitude" and team spirit
- You have experience in leading projects from design through to production
- Fluent in English (minimum C1), German is a bonus
